Founded in 2021 and based in Raleigh NC, Becoming rentABLE is the only dedicated accessible short-term rental listing platform looking beyond just the wheelchair to include all mobility, cognitive and soon hearing, vision and aging access. With over 1,000 accessible property listings and a revolutionary certification process that verifies and validates accessible features they bring confidence and the power of choice to people with disabilities. CAP CORSE HANDICAP

Since 2020, DESCHAMPS has partnered with the CAP CORSE HANDICAP association to enhance beach accessibility for individuals with disabilities or reduced mobility, allowing them to enjoy the beach and sea. Today, over 64 Mobi-mat® access mats and 55 Mobi-chair™ and Tiralo amphibious chairs are available on 30 beaches in Corsica during summer. This partnership reflects DESCHAMPS’ and CAP CORSE HANDICAP's commitment to making Corsica's beaches welcoming and accessible for everyone.

CORONA

Mobi-mat® and Corona have collaborated to improve beach accessibility for individuals with mobility challenges through the "Access to Paradise" initiative. This partnership introduces Mobi-mat® , accessibility beach mat, and Mobi-chair™ amphibious floating wheelchairs at various Canadian beaches, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the sand and the water. By working together, they are fostering a more inclusive beach environment, allowing more people to experience beautiful beach sunsets.

SMILE MASS

DESCHAMPS and Small Miracles in Life Exist (SMILE Mass) have been partnering for over ten years. SMILE Mass is dedicated to helping families raising children or adults with disabilities create joyful memories through education, recreation, and vacations. Thanks to SMILE Mass, over 180 families have been provided with a Mobi-chair™, a floating beach wheelchair, enabling access to the beautiful beaches of Massachusetts. This collaboration emphasizes their shared commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, making a significant positive impact on the lives of individuals with reduced mobility.

TONTOTON

At DESCHAMPS, we are committed to becoming increasingly sustainable and environmentally friendly. In line with this, we have partnered with TONTOTON, a company that offers circular solutions for managing all types of plastic waste, allowing us to actively reduce environmental impact, promote sustainable practices and generate positive social impact. TONTOTON collaborates with the informal waste sector and local communities to address plastic waste issues. By creating a new market for Ocean Bound Plastic, it focuses on recycling, upcycling, and co-processing unmanaged plastics, effectively supporting environmental sustainability while fostering economic growth and empowerment within local communities. DESCHAMPS impact is tangible: we collect and recycle over 12 tons of plastic annually along the Cambodian coast through the certified Ocean Bound Plastic (OBP) system. We are thrilled to support TONTOTON's mission, making a meaningful, positive contribution to the environment and proudly being part of this essential movement for our planet.
